About
Environmental researcher and spatial analyst investigating extractive industries, energy transition, and environmental justice in Indonesia.
I am an independent environmental and human rights researcher specializing in spatial analysis, policy analysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to monitor Indonesia's extractive industries.
My work sits at the intersection of environmental justice and the global energy transition. With Indonesia positioning itself as a central hub for critical minerals like nickel, the environmental and social costs of this rapid industrialization are often borne by local communities. Through rigorous data collection, spatial mapping, and corporate tracing, I work to bring transparency to these impacts.
By combining technical GIS methodologies with qualitative field investigations, I help uncover discrepancies between corporate sustainability claims and ground realities. My research has supported advocacy campaigns, legal challenges, and policy briefs aimed at improving environmental governance in the mining sector.
I regularly collaborate with civil society organizations, investigative journalism networks, and affected communities, translating complex supply chain and spatial data into actionable intelligence for environmental advocacy.
